Until 1997 The hop farm was known as The Whitbread Hop Farm and was owned by the Whitbread brewery. Originally a working farm, the brewery opened it up to visitors and it proved a popular attraction. Historically used by Whitbread for stabling their shire horses since the early 90's and the sale the Hop Farm by Whitbread it has become one of the most popular venues for large events in the south east, annually hosting the War and Peace show and Monster Truck events.

The Hop farm can also be hired out for weddings or other corporate events.

Camp at the Hop farm through out the summer months, One of the best camping sites in Kent, our park has 300 pitches and include hard standings, electric hook-ups and water points. Facilities include a reception, toilets, shower & wash room facilities with electric points and a shop for your everyday essentials. Half price entry into the Family fun park while camping on the site

 

In the last few years the Hop Farm has also held music concerts and an annual music festival at the venue. Acts that have played at the Hop Farm are Elton John, Ray Davies, Bob Dylan and Mumford and Sons.

 

Next to the Farm is the Brookers Oast for a voucher on food check the Brewers Fayre website.
